This policy explains how Qode LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use Flight Town (flight.town). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Who we are

2. The data we collect

• Account data (if you register): your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Favourites: the deals you choose to save to your account.
• Search and usage data: the searches you run (for example route or destination and dates) and the deals you click, used to operate and improve the Service.
• Analytics session: if you consent to analytics cookies, a random session identifier that lets us count visits and understand traffic. It is not linked to your identity.
• Technical data: IP address and browser user-agent, processed for security and to make the Service work.
• Mailing list: your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Preferences: such as your chosen display currency.

3. How and why we use your data (lawful bases)

You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 8) without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Strictly necessary cookies are always active; analytics cookies are only used with your consent, which you gave (or declined) through our cookie banner and can change at any time.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

• Affiliate and travel partners: when you click a deal, we forward you to the provider with an affiliate reference. We do not pass your account details to them; any information you then give the provider is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Service providers acting on our behalf, including our hosting and database providers and our email delivery provider, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
• Legal and safety: where required by law, regulation or to protect our rights, users or the public.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses to keep your data protected.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Search, click and analytics data are kept in aggregated or limited form only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent for analytics or marketing at any time.

To exercise any right, email privacy@flight.town. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

10. Children

Flight Town is not directed at children, and accounts are for users aged 16 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be shown here with its "last updated" date.
