Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains how Flight Town (flight.town) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a website remember things like whether you are signed in or which currency you prefer, and they can help us measure how the site is used.

2. How we ask for your consent

When you first visit, we show a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are always set because the site cannot work without them. Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, are only set if you choose "Accept all". They are off by default; if you choose "Essential only" we run with essential cookies alone and load no analytics. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer (or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser), which brings the banner back.

3. Cookies we use

4. Analytics: Google Analytics

If, and only if, you accept analytics cookies, we load Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC in the United States). It sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies listed above to help us understand which flights and hotels travellers search for, so we can improve the site. We send only the page path (with any query string removed, so tokens in links are never shared), and we have configured it not to share data for advertising. No Google Analytics script or cookie is loaded until you opt in, and turning analytics off (or withdrawing consent) stops it. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this data. This is described further in our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party cookies

When you run a live flight search, or click through to a travel provider or affiliate partner, that third party may set its own cookies on its own website, including cookies that credit your visit to us so we can earn a commission. Those cookies are controlled by the third party under their own cookie and privacy policies, not by us.

6. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site (such as signing in) from working. To review or change your choice on Flight Town, use the Cookie settings link in the footer, or clear this site's cookies and reload the page.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version is always shown here. Questions can be sent to privacy@flight.town.
